Default Edelbrock intake manifold question

I was wondering if you were to take the edelbrock intake manifolds (doesnt matter if its the victor x or the performer x) and get the extra injector/fuel rail kit for it. If you did this and lets say you had 440cc injectors on the main rail and 440cc on the seconday rail and had them wired to run together if this would be the equivalent of an 880cc injectors system?

Would the difference in distance from the combustion chamber play a role into how much fuel would be needed or would you have more pooling and droplet forming in the intake?

This is just a wondering question because of course it would be much easier to just get 880cc injectors but i thought i would ask.
