Well as the topic states i'm looking for pics of the 1.6i-16. Otherwise known as the JDM and/or EDM civic/crx's that came with the ZC engine in it. I thought it would be more interesting to make my car a replica of that rather than what everyone does which is the SiR conversion. Considering I want the ZC motor in my hatch, I would like to make it look like the stock cars that those motors came in.

I started by finding the emblem which is just like the 1.6i-VT except a red 16 instead of VT (for vtec i'm assuming). Also it seemed there were DOHC logos somewhere on the cars, I think on the CRX in the back window and not sure for the hatch's.

Now... i believe in Japan it was just called the Si, but everywhere else it was called the 1.6i-16. In the same respect as in Japan was the SiR while everywhere else was the 1.6i-VT. What I'm looking for, I suppose is pics from any civic or CRX that came stock with the ZC motor whether it be called the 1.6i-16 or just Si.

So any pics of any angle in any quality to see some differences would be awesome. I know this is a tall order, please don't flame there's no need I don't care what you have to think about my idea... I just think it's cooler than another SiR conversion.

I think the one overlooked item that no one seems to get when going for that ZC style/look are the plastic lens headlights and matching corners. They consist of single H4H bulbs and the corner lights have only 1 bulb as well. I *think* some of the cars in Japan also came with DOHC PGMFI (NO VTEC of course) decals on the doors and a 16 valve decal on the rear hatch glass. There are soo many variations though.

the 1.6i-16v has glass headlights, the sticker on the back and the hood bump, also other little things like rear foglights in the bumper and a speedo that goes to 150mph or 240 kmh...

Jdm Si has the zc hood, plastic one bulb headlights, Si badge on the rear and 180kmh speedo

 

Know of anyplace that sells or at least lists that they sell the plastic headlights? I thought I saw them somewhere but maybe I'm crazy.

My headlight are from EF7 bolt on on the USDM front end, and are made of plastic

I got a ZC headlights and engine for my CR-X, now I want a front bumper .

you need to re-read what i wrote, i said the 1.6i-16v comes with glass and jdm Si comes with plastic...these are two different models, with similar features...

Yeah...useless. And the car blipped better on the throttle without it.

I blew the motor a month after the pic.

 

Don't forget the rear foglight in the tails. ALso the rear bumper with reflectors.

Is your front bumper the same as an USDM CR-X? Is it only the JDM CRX with an ZC engine have the Si-R look alike bumper?
