I have BC3+s on my b16. The head is milled and I have omni flat bottom valves so I am up around 10.8:1 compression. I am very happy with the cams. I bought them because I autocross the car so I wanted as much low end power as possible.

Yup

Unless you want to raise up the compression to take full advantage of Spec4

so to be able to put the 4's to full potential you would pretty much have to build a motor like TBone's? Is this correct..

good thread, lets keep it going. I'm going 12:1, 85mm b16a with b17 crank, so i'm trying to decide on which buddy clubs.

Altough BC4 picked up all over powerband on Tbones motor versus Skunk2 stage 3s, they really opened up past 7K RPM, I'm sure they are very compression happy
