Default Is My Belt too loose?

Is my timing belt too loose? I've read that a 90 degree turn is ok, so does this mean i'm ok???

sorry about the quality . ... I used to low quality setting on my camera phone. . .

You need to turn your crank a few times and it will tighten the belt, then you can retighten the tensioner. that belt needs to be a little tighter.

right on, i'll do that tomorrow. . i'm changing my cam gears and putting in motor mount inserts tomorrow anyways. . .

I've heard about (& repeated) the 90 degree twist. But if I take off the lower timing cover, grab the belt in the middle of that long span, I can barely twist it 90 degrees. I don't think I could twist that much just in the little space of the upper cover.

you should only be able to turn the belt at a 45 degree angle, 90 is too much, thats way to loose. use the tensioner and tighten it
