Default Another lip, 99-00 civic si lip install Preview. (pics)

Ok I had one of those ABS plastice lips for a 99-00 civic laying around. My sister bought it for her car but it didn't fit properly. I decided to see how it looks on my crx so here you go. It took alot of work to get it this far. I first lined up the middle of the lip and got it centered. I then screwed it in place with some brakets underneath so It would look nice and clean. I then took a propane torch and melted the plastic around the curves of the bumper. It may be easier to use an oven because the torch melted the platic badly but I didn't care becasue I was able to mold it how I wanted. I then used a sander to get all the bubbles out. I also used the sander to smooth the edges. These are just some preview pics. It still needs somemore sanding and filler ot get it nice and smooth.Once I get the front end finished I will post some pics of it ll finished. Hope you enjoy it. Also let me know what you think of it. Good or bad.

pics of it on the car won't be up for a while. These where just teasers. I still need ot find an Sir hood. Once I get that then it will all go together. Along with new paint and wheels and a hole bunch of other stuff.

P.S. if anyone knows anyone selling an Sir hood let me know through a PM.

That will only fit that nice on the jdm ft bumper though because its longer than the usdm ones we have here.

Damn that came out nice! Looks like after some finer sanding and some of that molding paint it will look hot. Cant wait to see the final product!
