My friend has a 94 civic 4dr. For some reason her shocks continue to blow. She bought brand new shocks and 3 months later they blew. She has gone through numerous shocks and the suspension is stock!!! She had an Si suspension but took it off, and now its all stock again. Anyone got any ideas why?? PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

so you're saying that the suspension is bone stock with no mods and not lowered? what kind of wheel/ tires are you running?

What kind of shocks is she putting back in ?

 

yes bone stock, off the top of my head i dont know what tires she is using. All i know is that they arent performance tires. I believe she went with some aftermarket shocks once, nothing special, and the last ones were oem.

 

If she was running some heavy *** 18's for wheels maybe but otherwise there isn't any reason she would be blowing shocks on her car unless they are junk to begin with or she's hauling abnormal amounts of weight around or driving on bomb cratered roads at high speeds.
