96 honda civic-SRS Light
Ok I have read all about how to reset the SRS light if you have done something to cause it to turn on...i.e. disconnecting the battery, changing the steering wheel or doing something with the seat. Now the SRS light on our 96 Honda Civic LX just came on with out doing anything. So does this mean I need to take it to the dealership so they can tell me my SRS module is bad or is there something else that could cause this problem? Is it as easy as going on e-bay and getting a new SRS module and putting it in? Or should I try and reset it anyway? Is this really something to be concerned about? Any thoughts would be great…thanks!!
I had the cable reel on my civic go out and it caused this. also this caused the horn and the cruise control to not work also.
just something to look into.
just something to look into.
