MY PLANS :
GSR BLOCK
type-r water pump and oil pump
LS STOCK LENGTH H-Beam eagle rods
LS crankshaft polished and ls block internals (girdle and what not
12.0:1 compression pistons from JE or civic type-r pistons
b18C1 gsr head for the extra higher compression w/ skunk2
manifold

now would there be a piston to deck height difference?
would it claer the deck or smack into the head
would it just fit like a glove or what would be my clearance issues?
i know that i just have to tap the oil squirters a little to let the crank move freely but that's all i've heard
please let know your input

LS crank and rods in a GSR block is fine. Deck height is the same.

 

i just did one for the first time and in my opinion worth it compared too my other high comp gsr motor, and you dont have too worry about all that oil line crap and tapping here and there...

 

we have almost the same set-up GSR block with LS crank and rods 12.5 in full body integra GSR

 

11sec.ALL MOTOR

do you run it on 93 octane
did you get detonation of any piston

12.5 is a little high what do you think and what pistons did you use

any issues with the set up
