okay, i recently finished an auto to manual swap. mini me...and was running on the auto ecu for a 1year and half now..just got a manual ecu out of a 98 ex, my car 96 ex. i plugged the ecu in and started it, let it idle for approx. 5 mins. too it out for a spin and the engine check came on and i was reading code 1. which was the primary o2 sensor. it wouldnt let me rev past 2000 rpm. wtf. i then too that ecu out and plugged in my auto ecu and it ran fine..oh yeah one of the plugs dont plug in..no pronges stick out of the ecu..the third plug is not used..helps guys..thanks..

 

not thread related, but is your 'k' key malfunctioning, you left the k off the word took twice......

 

are you shure it is the o2 as normally code 1 is for the ecu but do not know what the code says about the ecu.
and with it not reving past 2000 this would indicate that the ecu has gone into get me home mode
