.....and so the story ends...
In the year 2000 I bought my first ITR and I finally became a Honda-Tech member... I had so much fun and made so many friends.... I went through all those hells just like blown engines, crashes during tracktime, went through all that joy you and my ITR`s brough to me.
During the last years my ITR had been my daily driver too and I could afford it since my company carried the cost and lowered the tax I had to pay. But now, in the year 2004 things are collapsing in Germany, it seems... People are like paralyzed. It´s a deep black hole we are falling in. In the next year, my company will be rated and the ITR can no longer be a part of it. It`s a pure racecar which I can not longer afford, when/if it will be transferred to my private account.
So I decided to sell it now (100 percent sure on this) and look out for a car-leasing-contract, the only way to save money by lowering taxes... I sent all my employees away to keep down the cost, just like every owner of a company does these days...
Anyway, the ITR has to go soon. I plan to replace it with a new Seat Leon Cupra R what only will be a nice daily driver. Seat offers good leasing contracts at the moment and the Cupra R is a fast an cheap beater. But there will be no racing no more.
Thanks to you all and all the friends I made here...
Good Bye
Some pics of me and my ITR`s for the gallery.

Hope things work out for you and your company.
And yeah, what about the expo?
Been looking forward to that since you came up with the idea.

That's horrible man. Sorry to hear that. Did you consider garaging the car for the time being? Perhaps getting a really cheap beater?

Don't be a stranger, stop by and since I have no clue what a cupra is, your going to have to show me with some pics.
You can never leave H-T, its like a roach motel, everyone comes in but no one leaves .

It is terrible that you cannot keep your R. I can only imagine as to how it would feel. Good luck on your sale, but do not be a stranger to the forum. I mean even without an R, you would still have a lot of wisdom and information to share.
That's bad news, Sven. But good luck further. So, maybe we will see you at the Euro EXPO?
A Seat is just a cheap VW, IMO.

The Expo is not only an ITR-5847 project... there are some people who work behind me for the same thing, so don`t be scared, ok ?
I agree, a Seat is the spain VW. But I have to take what is best for me and my companie`s situation... I could lease a smart or a small city car but I want to remind the days I felt alive while driving. So I look out for cars which are easy and cheap to lease (leasing is the best way to drop the tax), are sporty and race-spirited, are fast and agil but offer enough comfort and elegance to visit customers with.
Well, Honda offers nothing than the CTR (what I don`t like). BMW, Mitsubishi, Nissan and all that manufacturers that offer good ans sporty cars are too expensive. They need 8000 Euros first to let you pay 400 a month by letting you only drive 10.000km a year.
That`s why the Leon Cupra R caught my eye... 2000 Euros first, 347 a month, 20.000km per year without extra cost. Including Recaro sports seats, climatronic and a lots of features that make a good daily driver. 225 turbo bhp and 1300kg weight. The car is fast and agil, good suspension and stiffness, Brembo brakes, it carries an R, is spirited by the "Leon Cupra R race series", is cheap for business customers to get, is relatively rare and unique.. Not an ITR at all but still a fine compromise I think. I found nothing better.
Some guys said: Keep the ITR... ... I could do that but why storing a car in the garage ??? I will not be able to get license plates for it for years. I had a crash and the insureance costs are way too high for me to pay this car private.
I plan to save some money in the future, get myself an EG6, stip it, throw in a badass suspension and a rollcage to burn the tracks over here.. This would be a cheap private race-car... But I can not afford an ITR as a private racecar... In the past, yes.... but not in the future.

Recession is now really hitting hard in europe.
Hate to see someone here falls into it.
While Schumey and Bernie is getting rich off asia, everybody is suffering.
Good luck to your future.
