JDM Automatic H22A into a 6th gen Accord Sedan (electrical)
I know Sedans arent the desired swap cars, and frankly I just dont care. Thats what I have, and thats what Im swapping into. Ive been reading all the posts about 6th gen swaps and they seemed to be pretty useful. I will be doing my swap in the near future and will be taking pictures of EVERYTHING I do. From the Dyno sheet of my F23 with cold air intake and a AEM fuel rail, to the Dyno sheet of my H22a. The main questions Ive been reading up on seemed to have been all about the mounting brackets and all that. My main question (i havent even dove into anything with my accord yet) is the wiring. Anyone know how to deal with the ECU and such when swapping into the 6th gens? I want to use the JDM prelude climate control too...its so tasty. I got a whole front clip for pretty cheap. So yeah help me out if you can, and In turn I will compile all the notes and problems/solutions I come across in my swap and post them on my website for all to see, with pics.

well alright...no one knows? Give me info on anything! Accord, civic, prelude...DOESNT MATTER! Give me any wiring info you have on doing a swap. Im going to look around for some info.
Ask -bionic- (bastard mexican mang) .... or he may not see this thread. He finished it about 16 months ago in his garage. His was manual, however.
Some small wiring issues to get all the CELs gone and the idle running perfect, so he would be the one to get lotsa help from -- helms for both cars will help you through most of the wiring though. GL.

Thanks man. Trying to get a 92-96 prelude Shop manual or something to see if I can do everything myself. Really dont want to pay anyone for wiring since thats my strong point. (when i know what im doing that is)
The helms has very detailed electrical. wiring diagrams for pages. if you cheap out, you can probably find them bootlegged on ebay cdrom. But the real deal is worth the money.

haynes are not bad. Better than chilton. Helmsinc.com I think is where I got mine. The ebay cd's are gonna be scans of almost the entire helms.

Kewl. Thanks. I already have a handful of haynes manuals, but none for the prelude. Might invest in one soon, as well as a helms. Cant hurt to have several manuals after all. Thanks alot!
Well, haynes doesnt make one for the newer preludes and the Helms *no longer will include wiring diagrams found in the original release* like wtf? Crap crap crap. Guess I will have to figure everything out on my own. Still looking for wiring diagrams.
