ok well i just repainted my car inside and out and the engine bay looks so nice without the abs unit in there. the problem is i want abs in my car! if i was to relocate the abs pump to the trunk area using stainless steal lines or custom hardlines, would it still function the same?

im looking for a itr ABS unit.

yea i have been wondeirng the same thing.. also do you know if the 98-01 ABS pumps are compatiable with the 94-97 ABS comp??? if they are not, are the comps. swap and play or do you have to tinker with the wiring harness to re-wire??

reasoni want to know this is, b/c the 98-01 ABS pumps are much smaller in size and lighter and i have one sitting here... my car is a 97 so i was wondering about compat. problems with my 97 ABS comp with a 98-01 ABS pump..

 

also is the ITR ABS unit diff then the GSR ABS unit? (pump)

 

it should be a direct swap! the itr abs unit is different from the gsr. from what ive read and researched, the itr abs unit is better.

is the comp. itself better or is the ITR pump better then the 98+ gs-r?? or both??
