Default skunk2 intake manifold (gsr)

few quick questions:

1. i don't have to use a different throttle cable and pulley do i? the stock one should work shouldn't it?

2. is there any way i can reuse my stock intake arm or do i HAVE to buy a ITR?

recommended that you use itr throttle cable and bracket or else it would hit the strut bar and rub on the hood..and yes you need either an ls or type r intake because the skunk2 positions the intake differently now

nah, if you going spend all that money to mod to Skunk2, you might as well, go that extra mile and make everything fit perfectly.

just get a nonGSR throttlebody pulley, and buy the type r Throttle cable and bracket. This shouldn't cost you more that 50 bucks.

you can use the stock intake rubber arm, but it will fit in an awkward position, since it's rubber you can always bend it, but like I said it will still be awkward, though still useable.

I, myself went and got the Real Deal Type R throttle body and Intake arm. But I don't think everyone will want to do the same.

Anyway, just get the TB pulley and type R cable, you be happy you did. as for the rubber arm, just use the stocker for now, buy an aftermarket one for TypeR later, it will fit perfectly.

What other mods do you have on your GSR? You might want to reconsider getting the Skunk2 manifold if your GSR is fairly stock.

he will be happy with the manifold. You should get a non gsr throttle pulley. Then use a 92-95 civic throttle cable or a Type R or LS will work also. For my car, i used a prelude throttlebody with a 92-95 civic throttle cable. Made a custom thorttle bracket. Might as well do a hondata gasket while you are at it.

im sorry to seem like a dumb *** but could you show me in this picture what i would need?

and this is the site. im getting ready to purchase the skunk2 IM. if i can get a heads up on what i need in advance that would be awesome. im not going to get an itr throttle body because that is just way to pricey for me.http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no
