Re: skunk2 intake manifold install (Go Mifune)
1)no it wont fit...get an intake from an ls or a ITR
2)nope you can use your stock parts
3)-the throttle cable will hang a little high, but wont be any problems with that unless it really bothers you, just get a bracket from an SI i believe.
-its a B!tC# getting the GSR intake manifold out...
-wont do much on a stock engine..

Re: skunk2 intake manifold install (da_rockwilda)
thanks for the reply. yeah, i've heard about how hard it is to get the old one off. that's why i'm gonna have someone else do it (he's pulling the head anyway, maybe that'll make it easier somehow). stock? friends don't let friends drive stock! (intake, throttle body, head p/p, milled, jdm itr valvetrain, cam gears, pulleys, chip, headers, exhaust, clutch, etc. etc.)

Actually you can use your old cai and throttle linkage I did it on mine. You will have to modify your cai though. Mine was a little easier since it is a iceman. But you will have to cut it a bit. The gsr throttle linkage just barely fits below the hood so you will be ok.
