Searched found nothing
My defroster button lights up but does not heat the rear glass. Is this a common problem? An easy fix? I am hoping to find something out here before I get the volt meter and start tracing wires.
No I havent looked at anything yet I dont think a fuse because the light on the button lights up
I would think is the light on the button didnt work then a fuse but the button is getting power.
Also I have had this car for a year and half never worked since I owned it.

The rear defrost just runs current through the lines that line the rear window. If one of those lines is ruined (happens often when tint is installed/removed) then they will no longer conduct current. If your fuses are find then I would check this next... or first.
