doh. my full hindle isn't that bad on noise. it does mess with emmisions in the nature that it has no provisions for o2 sensors, so i need to get a power commander and o2 simulator plug thingys to get rid of the FI light.

Ya D&D's are rediculous i went on a ride to boston last year and a guy had an R6 with one on it he had his GF on the back and when we got there i started talkin to her and she kept sayin "what" "huh" "cant hear you"
heh. i have a 98 cbr600 and it has a d&d slip on on it. but when i ride it. it doesnt sound loud at all to me. but my neighbor and bro said they hear me way before i pull onto our road. and when i leave they hear me for a while. but anyone know why it's not as loud as others say it should be?
all aftermarket performance exhaust has a disclaimer for off road use only.
they should be ticketing the harley people..their **** is a million X louder than any sportbikes...

I have a polished alluminum D+D which i took off because I acquired a broke carbon fiber two brothers which I in turn cut 6inches off of and put that on my bike and its quieter than the D+D. THE D+Ds are LOUD! Sounds badass but gets old after an hour on the bike. Ringing ears and all.
They do not do emissions on bikes. At least in VA. I have an RS5 Yoshimura Slip-On and it is only loud if I rev it like crazy. If I don't it's not that loud. I have not been stopped yet.
