I was in an accident a couple nights ago, and ever since my axels seem to rattle when i go over bumps. The wheel was not hit directly. When I went to check out my wheel i wiggled the wheel that wasnn't even on the impact side and it moved and made a clunking noise when the vehicle was down on it. Can someone please help me, I need to know what part to buy so i can get it fixed soon.

 

you sure it's your axle? Maybe you have a balljoint that went out on you.

 

Check to see if you have a rip on the boot of the axles. Any bents on the axle? Check them. Then decide on what to do, buy new axles, new boots, etc.

Know your problem before doing anything.

well i took the tire off and grabbed the axel and shook it and it didn't move to much. The boots all looked the same too. So i don't know what to think, and it doesnt click when i just drive, it rattles when i go over bumps and ****. the alignment is off to if that helps any.
