I recently got into an accident and am considering getting a JDM front. I just have a few questions...how do the fender liners (the black ones inside the wheel well) connect to the JDM front? Can you modify the USDM one to fit it or do you have to purchase the JDM one? Also, do the conversions usually come with the small things (like hood latch, emblem, bumper support, impact bar and cushion, etc)? If not, can I modify the USDM counter parts to fit? I will probably have more questions, but for now, this is all I can think of. TIA.

 

I'm pretty sure you can mod the us fenderwells. I'm in the process of installing my jdm front thats what I'm going to do. It would be done but mine was sold to me incomplete.

Make sure you get an exact list of everything they are supplying you, and condition.

For example mine came with a used rad support that looked like someone cut it off the doner car with an axe, backed over it with a truck a few times then sent it to me.

 

I used my stock fender liners and it fit nearly perfect. My advice, always buy a new radiator support, it makes things a lot easier and nicer.

 

Is there a difference bewteen a new OR used rad. supp.???????? Im buying a USED JDM in Jan. 02, so is there any probs w/ buying USED????

BTW, how much did you pay, b/c i dont want get a RIP-OFF USED JDM kit that im buying next month!

a used radiator support means it is cut off the car (and they don't always cut them off very carefully), a brand new one is fresh out of the box and has never been welded onto a car.
