Default zc tranny on z6

how easy does an lsd zc tranny fit up to a d16z6 in a 1990 civic si. what kind of problems am i going to see and what things do i need to do?

What about axles? the zc tranny uses teg inners..

you will have to use the zc intermediate shaft, and the holes for the shaft bracket will need to be tapped unless they are already threaded.

The ones on the back of the block that the intermediate shaft mounts to.

depends on the year.. is it an 88?

the tranny i am using right now is a 90 si that was in the car with a z6 motor. i want the lsd on the zc so i was wondering whats needed?

i don't think it will work. i tried this with a d16y7 and the engine didn't have any bolt holes built out far enough on the block. in other words, the intermediate shaft had nothing to bolt to, no holes that could have been tapped, and it didn't have any metal on the back of the block that could have supported it.

well im good with medal so i could build a bracket and also the z6 has a huge dead space that is really thick right there i think if i remember tight from the installation.

D16a6 from 4wd wagovans have intermediate shafts. look into that
