will i be ok to use ACT HDPP and an oem disc?

yeah the race disks are to harsh for the street. but the pressure plates that are aftermarket are all heavier than stock. i have act hd plate and street disc in my civic i like

 

it wont cause the oem disc to wear faster will it?

 

well i cant say for sure but its not supposed to. it its a stickier set up but just as smooth as stock. act has a diagram where they show where their applications fit in the scale from street to race apps as far as what plate with what disc maybe its on http://www.advancedclutch.com im not sure

not really they are all within the ballpark i would just shop around and see whos cheaper. i dont think i paid more than 500$ for hd00 w/street disc maybe like 550$ shipped.

then i believe you can use a stock disc. should work. try all the cheap oem dealers.
