Default D16/D15 DPFI crossbreed leaning out. No clue...new to this.

OK,... I'm new to this. DPFI is rare here in europe, so first time experience.

I swapped out a busted D15B2 DPFI, and swapped back in a D16A6. But I didn't feel like doing the MPFI swap, so I kept all the DPFI related stuff like intaker manifold etc. I did use the D16 exhaust mani+o2 sensor.

The car seemed to run fine. Idles a bit low. But it had a weird knock. At first I thought I swapped in a bad block...but it turns out it's detonating alike a ****.
The spark plugs are white as a corpse. I'm really talking WHITE as a sheet of paper. So it's leaning out really bad.

Does the DPFI setup even work on a D16? Or am I searching for a malfunction...
broken injector? (Where ARE the injectors on that DPFI thing????)
I tried swapping over the FPR...but they are incompatible.

Any help guys? I'm new at this, and I want to get this POS outta here.

It makes perfect sense if you think about it.. the DPFI setup is for a motor with a 1.5L displacement, and you are using it on a 1.6L motor.. so the fuel is off by roughly 6%.. go ahead and do the MPFI and save whats left of your motor

Well looksee... that's the whole point.
I don't want to do a MPFI swap. And a few % off should be sufficiently corrected by the ECU right..? I'm thinking faulty 02 or injector.. but I wouldn't bet my life on tit just yet.

A quick inspection of the D15 revealed that it was also leaning out badly. So It's probably a busted injector, since the intake manifold was re-used.

Nice surprise... So now I need injectors.
Who has a left over set of D15 injectors for me? Needs to be cheap!
