In dying need of more torque!
Hi guys,
I have a B16B EK. From my readings this engine is basically a de-stroked B18C right?
Would just buying a 1.8L crankshaft and putting it in the existing block increase my displacement?
Any mods i need to do to the block to achieve this?
Or is it less hassle and cheaper to bolt up a B18C block?
1.8L crank i havent find out how much it cost but a JDM ITR block cost about USD700 here in Malaysia.
Thanks for all the help in advance guys!

you need the crank and the rods bare minimum to give you 1.8L
stock pistons can stay, but they will up your compression a couple of points from 10.8:1 on the 16B

I gotz 100% more torque with 10 PSI.

Yes. 200% of 110 ft-lb == 220 ft-lb.
