Default Hood clearance with B series?

When i first got my car I noticed the hood was kind of high leaving a large gap between the hood and the bumper/headlights so I adjusted it down a bit but notice it's rubbing the engine now. I assume this is why i see those hoods with the humps in them. Is that custom or another JDM style hood?

You can only use a JDM hood if you have the JDM front end. You can buy a CF hood that is the JDM style but fits on a USDM crx. Were your mounts re-welded or did you use a mount kit? I forgot already.

Rewelded. Well I guess I'll use this as incentive to buy a CF JDM style hood.

The hump in the hood is purely cosmetic.

The JDM SIR hood actually does not have a hump on it. Rather, the center section comes up rather than down (as on the stock, USDM hood). The Fiber Images JDM-style hood is the same. But it fits without modification on a USDM car.

I wasn't aware that a jdm SiR hood didn't fit the US CRX, what's different? Although I did notice that the hoods on the SiR frontend have less of a gap with the bumper.
