Default Bosch Platnium +4 ok to use instead of Zex plugs?

Can you use Bosch +4's instead of Zex "Hyperformance" plugs when using Nitrous?

the +4's aren't worth it just get the NGK's.....they don't burn as hot.

Bosch +4 and ZEX both suck.

Depending on your jet size, I'd say a BKR8E-11 would be good (Honda part # is 98079-5814E)

Can you explain why Bosch Platinum +4's suck? I also have some NGK Platinums. Ignition system consists of a MSD 6AL, Blaster SS coil and MSD 8.5mm wires.

Plat's have a weaker spark, but last forever.

BTW Where did I say they sucked?

True, true. Plat is a much weaker conductor than conventional copper. The advantage to plats is their longevity. I prefer to use the non-plat NGK and change them when needed.

Check out the NGK website. They have a pdf that shows how their part number is constructed and how to select cooler/hotter plugs.

BKR7E-11 breaks out like this,,,,,,

B is a 14 mm thread diam
K is a 5/8" hex plug with projected tip
R R is a resistive (duh) plug
7 is the heat range; Stock is 6 on my accord. I have been running 5's
E is thread reach,,,, 19 mm (3/4") for E
11 is gap 1.1 mm or .044"

Oh,,

The CP just means that it has a projected insulator. Not sure what this buys you.
