iv read some stuff about doing this but i want a straight up answer.

which would be easier and how easily can it be accomplished.

i want to swap my dx gauge cluster (only upto 8krpm) for a jdm ef 8/9 cluster or the euro crx cluster since these bother rev up to 9k which is what i need.

please dont tell me to get an aftermarket tach, im not interested in cluttering my interior with gauges, i want a clean car.

ohh and on another matter, i was wonderign, with the door panels from a ef hatch fit into a crx? im lookign to get si doors later on for power windows and such. just not sure what willl and wont fit.

There are wiring guides on the net somewhere for it. Mostly just matching up colors though. You'll also need some way of getting a vss pulse for the spedo and ecu to work. I have one for sale with a home made pulse generator for $125 shipped if your interested.

 

the ef8/9 jdm or the euro cluster?

could you please tell me what the vss pulse generator does / what its significance is.

also if i bought this from you what would i need to do to get it in my car?

ahh damn, i just saw the cluster swap that B18C5crx did. i think im going to find a '00 si cluster now

it fits pretty good only gotta trim a bit off of it...re wiring is the hardest part just look for a wiring thingy..

 

could you please explain trim a little bit off of it. THe cluster hood or the cluster itself?

there was a picture i saw of an ls cluster in a crx (looks same as the gsr cluster) and part of the temp and fuel gauges where trimmed off,

 

will a JDM 90-93 ACURA INTEGRA VTEC CLUSTER fit into a usdm 91 crx?

you only have to trim the top thingy on the cluster and nothin else really...it look pretty clean except for the fuel/temp are gonna be hidden barely like a 1/8" each behind the cluster hood..
