CW NH-0 variations
hi im looking to get a champ white paint job and would like to see some of the different variations of the color (ie. NH-0b, NH-0g). i want to order the paint but i need to know what letter to put on the end cause it can change the color alot.
thanks
thanks
right. nh-0 is the standard base color that most people refer to. only way to find out the actual color code is to either talk to a body shop with a manufacturers color code or to buy one yourself.

First off, where did you find those color codes?

You mean they asked you whether you wanted NH-0b or NH-0g, too? j/k

From what I have been told, nh-0 would have been what the car color looked like new, all the other variations in car colors are supposed to be what it should look like after certain years. I know when I got my sideskirts painted he showed me 3 different versions of CW and the one that I choose was supposedly what the paint was supposed to look like after five years and it matched perfectly

The factory code is located in the lower right hand corner of your color plate. For example, the color below would be listed on our site as B-89P. When you select factory code A from the drop down list of factory codes on our site, the color code becomes B-89-A which is not the same color as B-89. For accurate colors, please enter this letter or number! If you do not see a factory code on your color plate, please use the 11th digit of your VIN.
Many Honda and Acura vehicles will not have a factory code on the color plate. Again, enter the 11th digit of your VIN so we can properly formulate your paint. If you have a factory code listed on the color plate and it does not match the 11th digit of your VIN, use the factory code on your color plate.
Please note!
On some color tags the factory designation is part of the color code. For example, if your paint code reads B-89P-3, then the -3 is your factory code and MUST be entered in the factory code box on the order form.

Then it really won't matter. An ITR that is NH-0x is no more or less "Championship White" than one that came NH-0y. Unless you saw two panels side-by-side, I think you'd have difficulty even discerning the difference.

I don't understand why. I've ordered paint for my car before. All I gave them was the code NH-0.

yeah.. it's not like you're typing in a number and trying to get lucky by picking the right one or something.. they should have all possible listed on their little computer.. tell them just to pick one and go with it.. and to tell you which they use in case you have to do any paint work later..

so lets say that he picks nh-0-a how much of a difference would it be if he picked nh-0-z would it be on the totally other side of the shade spectrum. basically someone on here with a cw itr needs to go outside and look at the color code for this guy and give him what yours says.

And the letter is the one on the bottom right corner of the sticker... which is for color matching as it corresponds to the date (i.e. year) and factory that the chassis was painted at.
If he is painting his whole car, any NH-0 will do nicely.

i doubt it.. furthermore, I'd bet that if you had two panels of the same car painted in different "shades" of NH-0, 90% of the people on here wouldn't be able to tell the difference.. and 50% couldn't see it even if you told them..
now, paint the whole car the same shade, and it doesn't matter at all.. just so long as he knows which it is in case he has to do paint work again later..

Mine too... absolutely nothing else on that sticker except "COLOR".
11th letter in VIN is S. 1998 ITR #1085.
So, try NH-0-S?

11th digit of the VIN number is the factory code. (not anything to do with paint code)
S: Suzuka Factory in Japan
I am guessing they wanted the 10th digit of the VIN, as that would tell them the year of the car (so they can match the color that way)
