Hey there,

Well ussually i'm in the eg forum, but i was driving my grandmothers 1993 accord, and oh my god! armrests!! So I decided that i must have it too.

I have a 1987 (pop-up headlights) accord thats my daily beater, and was wondering if the 1990-1993 seats have the same rails, or could be modified to fit in my armrestless car. Oh if your wondering why i'm asking about the seat when its the armrest i'm looking for, ah, the armrest is attached to the driver seat. pretty nifty. It doesn't seem like alot but man, i could kill for an armrest after some drives to school. Plus my old accord has been too nice to me to look for another car so soon.

I dont think the 90-91 had an armrest. I thought only the 93 had it, but the 92 might also. It might be hard to locate that specific seat. Wouldnt it be easier to find a center console (armrest type, like from a 5th gen) and mold that into the center of your 87? It might be cheaper too.

you know i never even thought of that as a possibility. Would that work, and excuse me but which ones are the 5th gen accords?

I looked at every trim level for my 87-89 accord and they all do not have arm rests. Thanks for the response!~

 

5th gens are 94-97. Actually all accord from 94 and on have center consoles, but I think some civics had them too.
