Tuning with Uberdata, does anyone know if the Innovate Motorsports RPM converter a definate must with the LM-1 kit?????????

 

yes get the RPM converter. the $100.00 one. that lets you read the RPM readings as well as 3-4 more inputs such as TPS, Nitrous, etc. Theres a new RPM converter too that is about $250.00 I havent used that one before but I believe it does the same thing.

 

So, even with Uberdata, I still need the rpmconv., or is it just a nice addition?

 

im not 100% familiar with the Uberdata. but the RPM converter will let you datalog the other inputs you add on. If you dont have the converter, the Lm-1 will only pick up air fuel. the other inputs will let you see the RPMs and other things.

The RPM convertor is not neccesary for UD, and very few people have gotten it to work besides that. THe product was rushed to market, and ill conceived.

Thats kindof what I figured because the uber would be doing all the work anyways and the only thing the LM-1 would do is convert the 0-5volts needed to datalog. Thanks man that just seemed wrong to spend 100 bones on something the OEM ECU did.
