Start Damn it
When I stop to say buy gas, sometimes my honda will not start. If I wait a couple of min's it will then start. It happens maybe two or three times day. This is getting very old. Sometimes it will do it, other times it wont. It has never failed to start. Just takes a couple of min's. This only happens when I turn it off and and then try to start it a few min later. If I try to start it 20 min or more later it starts with no problem. I have a 92 accord ex. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have thought maybe it was a fuel filter? It will turn over and the engine will crank but its just missing the final step...... Thanks again.
Its probably your main relay (pgm-fi relay) its up under the dash, on the right side of the steering column, its brown. At least thats where mine is located, Ive got a 5th gen. Ive heard alot of people with this problem, I believe its 60 dollars from honda.

A bad main relay will have degraded and cracked solder joints on the back of the PCB when you open up the main relay. If you know someone who's good at electronics, they can just re-solder the joints.
