Default Is this a good deal

I'm looking to buy this hatch from some guy...heres the deal
92 cx hatch mint condition has 40k miles on body
ls/vtec motor
rebuilt ls block(stock internals)5000miles or so
gsr blades with new tires
gsr interior
obx exhaust
act clutch
6500 bucks

Good deal or not??? please respond, thanks!

holy **** 40k on a 92? do a carfa to make sure thats true
that is an awesome car but i dont know if id pay more than 5000 for any civic

if you know him and you trust his work, then do it. but i would of upgraded the internals of the block if i was doing an ls/v.

you could find a 92-95 hatchy and build your own setup for cheaper... depends on if you are looking to learn something or just wanna go fast...

6500 is a hefty downpayment on a nice new car tho. this hatch is about 12 years old.

my friend just sold his 93 civic hb for 6000, it sounds like the exact same setup ls vtec, gsr interior, gsr rims, act clutch, exhaust, intake, sway bars. but his had like 130,000 miles. if that motor runs good id think it was worth it yeah you can put 6500 down on a new car but its gonna be pretty slow im sure. ls vtec complete swap in AZ cost like 5000 so i think its worth it.

dont buy it! if he lied once about the shell, who knows what the hell is going on with the motor....

probably on its last 10,000mi and he wants to put a down payment on a new car!
