I took out the battery on my 94 civic to install in another car to see if it would start. When i was reinstalling it i managed to touch both terminals, and sparks flew everywhere, now my car doesn't do anything when i turn the key. Could i have blown a fuse, or is there the chance that i really f up my car?

 

you probally blew a fuse
pop the fuse box under the dash and see if any of them are blown

 

Check the big fuse in the engine compartment. You probably blew it. I believe it's a 80 AMP bus fuse. I blew one once.

You're lucky that's all that happened. Use more caution next time you're handling a battery - they can be quite dangerous if not handled properly.

 

Thanks. Yeah it was a fuse, 3.50 at the auto parts store. And my car is saved.
