Default How to wire my jap spec cluster

I just got my new cluster, I want to put it in my 88 hatch STD. I havent tried running it yet since my speedo cable busted do u guys think this jdm ef3 cluster is plug and play?



Also what is that blue plug for in the middle??? (That plastic piece that the blue plug plugs into is removable...)

The blue plug is for if your economy shifting(light that tells you to shift) , which i have for my HF model .

That is the same as any stock 90-91 cluster in canada.

at first I thought you got jibbed, but this is JDM, as there is no MPH conversion...

It looks like the 90-91 zc cluster which is plug and pluy for 90-91 civic's and crx's. You may have to change a couple wires around to work in an 1988 model not sure. You "will" need the 90-91 style cluster housing and dimmer, and rear defrost switches to all be changed over though.

I know, i need a new dash anyway so im just gonna come up on a black 90-91 civic dash

Either way i really dont care if its jdm or not, i just need a cluster w/ a tach and i wanted km/h. Im used to reading my speed in km/h since i used to have a jdm cluster in my jspec EG2. I l also like how the speed goes up 210 and not 180.

i dont think thats an eco light as why would a JDM car have that and a DOHC ZC? nah its for the USDM HF's.

that little box if u ask me might be for cruise control? or the speed warning buzzer?

What's so hard about NOT being an *******? Do YOU ever just plug **** up and hope it works? Good way of thinking buddy, and what if he doesn't have those plugs on his cluster? What then buddy? Where's he going to plug it into? YOUR *** when he ***** something up?
(sorry about venting and raving, but i had to. my job said it was very unstressful..yea right...)
