Default OEM vs Mugen vs Spoon - Oil Plan Q's

Okay guys, if i end up not being able to sell my Si and i keep it, i'm gonna need to do a little bit of maintenance work on it first.

For some reason, it keep leaking oil, the oil pan is all cruddy and grungy from oil n ****. I noticed when i swapped out my LSD tranny for a stock tranny, that i was missing two screws in to the oil pan-->block.

I may just need new gaskets and seals n such, but if the oil pan (for some oddball reason) is bad

#1 - any advantages towards picking up a mugen or spoon one?
#2 - if so, which one, mugnen or spoon? (i'm partial to mugen, but i want what performs better)
#3 - are they not even worth the $200 +/- that they cost (i would assume an oil pan from honda isnt exactly cheap, so i figure why not go after market?)

The stock-based aftermarket pans (I think mugen and spoon are modified stock pans) generally have some added baffles, mainly for fore and aft slosh. There are already baffles for the lateral oil motion. Some autocross/road racing types have said the Moroso pan is better suited to drag racing due to its baffle design.

Interesting design, good price. Quality craftsmanship, too -- I've got one.
