CRV: Roof rack, side steps questions!!

anyone have a crv with a roof rack or side steps? i'm looking for options due to the outrageous prices honda seem to be offering.

i got my element side steps and posted up a "how to" on the EOC

rather simple
even thought i DIDNT really need them being 6'4" lol

do they support your body weight? i looked at them but they seemed kinda flimsy.
