A little info about type R cams please
Just wondering if anyone would recommed type R cams for my 96 GS-R. Im trying to stay with the Jdm parts in my engine for reliability. Does anyone know what knid of power i can expect from the cams. Is there anything special that has to be done with the valve train or engine to achieve max power. How much HP will they make with nothing done to the stock valve train ( if possible?). Also any other information that would help would be appreciated.

The intake cam will give you 7 whp untuned
both will give you 10 whp untuned
You'll benefit a lot more with adj cam gears with them
