Well, picked up my car from the body shop last week, and finally got the exhaust bolted on. (Dayum it is loud without the muffler) It looks great, if you don't pay close attention to the panel gaps in the back. The car tracks straight now, but the trunk doesn't close right and there is a creaking and a couple vibrations that weren't there before. Total cost? Just shy of 3 grand. For not much more than a rear bumper, bumper supports, and a new frame rail. Geez, a new engine and shell of a 3rd gen HB won't run 3 grand. You folks who plan on racing an Integra wheel to wheel either must be loaded, or you are careful.
I need a new car to go beat on if I keep this up for much longer. Anyone know where I can pick up a POS civic hatch for H5?
I feel like I have been paroled from that damn rental car. Ahhh.....

New exhaust is much louder than the old one. More frantic and booming, less throaty. I liked the old one better. There is a lot more vibration at off idle and freeway speeds, and conversation in the car is now truly impossible. It also rubs on the brand new bumper, and the smell of melting plastic and paint after you get out of the car is kinda bad. It's not like it was installed improperly, either. According to Carland Acura, the "#1 Comptech guy in the area" put it on (at an egregiously high fee, I might add---good thing I'm not paying
)Oh well. I am going to take the bumper off and rehang it myself one of these weekends and put the whole thing back together right. Not something I should have to do, all things considered, but I am sooo tired of people f*cking up my car that I am going to do it myself. Then I will only have myself to blame
