i am trying to get a automotive HID retrofit going on mine. i wasn't quite sure how the r6 ones will do with hid's so i figure its best to keep the projectors, bulbs and ballasts from the car all together.

i would agree. the r6 where halogen projectors. if you were to retrofit r6 into the rr then i would just get a real hid projector thats the same size. it would produce better lighting.

ashish, you wouldnt neceserly need the same projector, ballast and bulbs from the same car. just as long as the projector fits d2s bulbs then it doesnt matter where the bulb or ballast came from. (or depending on what type of projector u use then then ballast has to match)

now that i actually look at the process, it might be harder to put hid projectors in cuz the way the headlights work. dunno looks like a hard project. but anyone who has skills, can do just about any retrofit out there.
