NEW CLUTCH SLAVE-HELP?
I just installed a new slave cylinder for the clutch, as well as the master. the is still a squeeking noise when i step on the clutch. it's coming from the slave cylinder area. could it be the ball pin?
any suggestions on making this go away?

Its an internal problem, the release bearing could need replacement or lubrication, causing it to squeek when the clutch is pressed. Mine does the same thing, soon ill be installing a new clutch so ill be able to tell for sure what it is.
yea..it has nothing to do with the slave. on preludes (4th and 5th gen), the squeek almost always comes from the throw out bearing (aka release bearing). apparently, this squeek really is no big deal...i've had it on my last prelude and the current one and the squeek has not led to any failiures.
there is a remote chance that the squeek is coming from the pedal assembly itself but very unlikely. grease up the pedal mechanicals and find out. but i'm pretty sure it's coming from the throw out bearing.

I had this problem, but I didnt care about the squeak.
Slave cylinder went bad and I replaced it still squeaking...
2 months later and now it is gone, don't klnow why but it didn't affect anything it just went away.
