b16a2/ctr piston's thinnest head gasket????????
Ok here's the question as the heading states... I don't think I've seen any threads on this... But what is the thinnest head gasket that can go in a b16a with ctr pistons.
The oem.. Head gasket works fine at 0.030 inches
But How about .
A Mugen that sits at 0.018 or a spoon that sits at 0.017 which is the thinnest i've found so far... what would be the most realible to use with such cramped space.. What head gasket does everyone use with their b16/ctr setup......

i dont run the ctr's but from what i've heard you'll be fine with the mugen or spoon h/g as far as valve clearance. i researced it cause i was gonna run them with my sk2 st2 cams before i went full custom. if your worried clay the motor and that will answer all.
The compression height is taller on the CTR pistons. Assuming the head has not been milled too much (don't ask me what too much is, clay the motor) you should be fine with a Mugen gasket.
