Default temp and fuel gauge problem, help!

yesterday I installed some AC Reverse Indiglo Gauges in my crx, now my fuel and temp gauge are all the way up (the temp gauge is down, when I start the car it shoots all the way to the top, comes back down when I shut it off)

anybody got any idea what to do about this?

Thanks!

Probably a bad ground like Mista Bone said.

sweet....forgive my ignorance, but are you guys talking about a bad ground going directly to the temp and fuel gauges? or coming from the new indiglo ****?

My dads winter beater 88 Civic DX auto does the same thing, except his is only the temp gauge that sky rockets when you start the car.

Did you bump the needles while installing the faces?

what did you do to it to mess it up, or rather - what did we do to it to mess it up? All we did was pull the needles off and then put them back on in the same place.

DJA

How did you fix it after you got another cluster?
