should I get a sealed or ported box for my 12" L5? I kinda want a ported box cuz its louder but ive heard that the L5's blow easily in ported boxes. is there much of a difference in how loud it is between sealed and ported? Anyone that has experience with this sub have any advice? im running it of a jl audio 500/1 amp.

IMO sealed sounds better. more accurate bass. ide go sealed

 

It's an L5. You'd be silly not to port it.
