My fuel pressure is f***ed up. Its stuck at 44psi.....ALWAYS.
Ok, I finally got my turbo installed, but I'm having a problem w/ the fuel pressure.
I installed the B&M FPR. Now my fuel pressure is a constant 44psi, no matter what I do. Vacuum on, or off or how much I turn the screw...its still 44 (well, shaking between 42 and 46). I think I'm leaking fuel at my B&M fp gauge, but a very little bit. Could that cause the problem? BTW, my fuel setup is Walbro intank, bm fpr, and 2 extra injectors tapped outta the line from the rail to the filter.
Thanks.

question:
do you have an inline pump?
i'm asking because if you have the fpg between the pumps it wont read correctly... (i did that and have changed it or in the process today, i love callling in sick off work for car ****..
)
a small fuel leak isn't good, but shouldnt cause it to stay at one spot unless you don't have an fmu either... then your fuel pressure will stay almost the same i believe...

is it possible that the screw isn't touching the vacuum adjustment? Maybe the FPR was put together wrong? hmm..
Nah, I think I figured it out. I think my pump is overpowering the diaphram. I need to drill a relief hole. Like this: http://www.theoldone.com/articles/regulator/

Well, sorry HKxBlur, but I drilled a 1/32" hole and now it works perfect. 38psi at idle and like 44 at wot.

How's the car running? Did you run it at E-town yet? and how much did the Turbo set you back? Who installed it, and how much? Sorry bout all the ?'s
Car's running good, but slow. I need an exhaust and tuning. I'm running hella rich. The turbo cost 3250, but after everything it looks more like 5500. And, yeah, I installed it.
Damn! I was thinking of going turbo, but at that kinda money I think i'll be getting a house 1st
Probably gonna get the head P&P in the spring/summer. So how you been? Everything going well? I lost AOL btw, my AIM name is TeggerLS96 if you ever want to drop a line. Did you get a time? I race you, w/ my poorly tuned N2O

Can u be absolutely positive that there wasn't something stuck in there, or put together wrong, or something.. Main thing is that everything's cool, but just wondering how the relief fixed your symptoms.. I don't get it..
