tranny swap shifter ?

98 acccord 4cyl lx auto->manny

Insted of gettin the shift assymbly w/ cables, could i just purchase the cables and get a DC Sports short shifter?

i had my old car, '95 accord ex, converted from auto to manual. it was cool.... i don't know how my mechanic did it... he just told me to cough up $500 and it was done in 6 days.
