im trying to change my distributor rotor and the SCREW is not coming off or budging, i tried pliers needle nose and hex key's its not budging and some of the rotor broke off, how can i losen that DAMn SCREW. It's on there very hard and as you can see the screw is not a phililps screw its something else

Take some vice grips to it. You may have to break apart the old rotor so you can turn the vice grips.

Then go get a another bolt. I've had that same problem

 

what size vise grips did u use? 5inch?

 

that looks like an allen screw. i replaced my philips screw with an allen screw, they dont strip out as easily as the crappy phillips.

 

i had that same problem when i did mine. i just used one of those screw drivers that you pound from the back and it tursn when you hit it. came right out!
