Default B20/vtec setup ?

Checked my compression the other day and it didn't look good so I've deceided to build a bottom end. I was thinking about a B20 but my question is do I do every thing that you would do if it were a ls/vtec. Thanks

b20 blocks are fine as long as you know ther limitations.good tunning and proper compression and it will be just fine.

Dont rev a B20 block to high because it is basically a bored out B18 block so the cylinder walls are thinner and combined with the low R/S ratio your asking to shoot a piston through it if you rev to high.

Im going to be revving my LS/VTEC to 8000 RPM on a 82mm bore which should be pretty safe.

do a little research, if its a mild build b20, you will be fine. Resleeving would be a good idea though.
