I had never heard of Tein doing an oil filter and was looking at Greddy oil filter relocation kits here : http://www.dragracing.com/prod...id=73

Then by chance found this site that does Tein shorter than OEM competition filters, hope it helps : http://www.tein.com/defi/alfit_top.html

At least you could go to their homepage and contact them to see where you can get what you're after.

So wait, with your GE sandwich plate you need to run a filter that's even SMALLER than the new current OEM Honda filter??? If so, quit using it and run a remote oil filter setup. Unless you want to be changing that filter out every 1k to ensure it's not bypassing since it'll be rediculously small. But if you have to have it special order it though Tein USA... The filter that you're referring to is a COMPETITION filter that is repaced after every race! Is that really what you want?

its your car, but i would get the relocation kit.

if you run into a bind and need a filter fast you wont have easy access to an ALFIT filter. keeping them on hand doesnt always work.
