engine coolant leak, erratic speedometer.. i think my car blew up
i was driving, and i kind took off pretty hard, hit about 6500rpm and shifted into second...
i looked down and my speedometer was going up and down, like it was getting electrical impuleses..
i got home, and coolant was leaking under my car....
the car starts and runs fine tho... anyone know whats up?

first, check where the the leak is coming from. wishfully, it would just be a loose hose..
and when u say you hit 6500 and shifted into second. i hope you were in 1st gear and shifted to 2nd, and not in 3rd going to 2nd !!

As long as you didn't shift from third to second I don't see why your engine would have exploded. Maybe you just have a loose hose and your battery's ground terminal came undone.

yeah maybe a loose hose, coolant on the engine, shorting out VSS connection or something??
do you get any CEL's?
