How do I adjust my headlights on a 95 civic?
Right now my left headlight is pointed too much towards the ground and I want to point it more outward to the street. I figured out how to adjust it left/right but I can't figure out how to do up/down. Any help?
theres 3 bolts and 1 nut that hold head lights in location. two one top(for back and forth adjustment).. one on side.. next to corner light... and one nut on the other side(up and down adjustment).. located in the upper rad suport i guess. heres a pic of my car.. i high lighted the bolts in yellow... let me know it if helps

wow. so much mis-information. those bolts are to align the headlight housing to the body of the car. there are actually adjusters on the headlight housing that allow you to change the reflector angle (inside the headight) without moving the housing itself. you can use a (+) head screwdriver to turn the adjusters. they're hard to point out w/o a pic of the back of the headlight housing
I tried doing this and stripped out one of the adjusters, the other one I turn and turn for the horizontal adjustmetn of shifting it left/right and it doesnt move, just spins. WTF? Why did Honda use such a retarded system. BTW my car is 1993 DX hatch
