I am trying to find out if the bose sound system in my legend (havent got it yet, pick it up at 8 lol) has an external amplifier for the bose system. if it does, how do I go about changing that? wiring diagrams would be helpful or someone who has done this b4.

I figure I would have to run new wires to the speakers??? please let me know if any of you can help!

well my friend, its eaiser than you think. in the legends with bose there is a amp at each speaker. when you pull the door off, there will be a small speaker, with a huge plastic baffel around it, and there will be 4 wires going into the baffel. the amp is built into the baffel. so back to the 4 wires. two of the wires are signal wires(or your speaker wires). and 2 of them are power and ground. all you have to do is unplug the molex that the 4 wires are in, and then cut them one at a time, cap off the power and gorund, and connect a new set of wires onto the end of the speaker wires. and there you go the fronts are all done. as fro the rears there eaiser, once you pull the speaker out theres an amp on the back of the speaker. again there will be 4 wires going into it, power , ground and 2 speaker wires. just cut the 4 wires, cap off power and ground, and connect some new speaker wires on the speaker wires. and thats it no running new wires or any bs liek that. its pretty easy. but you do have to rplace the speakers when you do all this. bose uses extremely low ohm loads on there speakers. so your deck may not even play them, and if they do boze speaker only sound good with the rest 0of the bose system. you could try hooking it all up but i garantee its goign to sound shitty.
