my tranny keeps poping out of 3rd gear every time i take my foot of the accelerator. I checked the fluid and its full. also my shifter moves when i get off the trottle. is that supposed to happen. plz reply

hrmm i had that same problem with a b16 tranny and it was the tranny fluid that was low that solved the problem - had a slight leak

another issue i had at the same time were the axles - one of them seemed to be almost out of balance i guess you could say causing the car to vibrate

filled the tranny full and stopped the leak, put a new axle in and had no more problems

 

btw is a ex tranny. forgot what the code was. S20 i think

Sound like you have a bad synchronizer.

Your shifter is supposed to move a little when you get of the gas, it's the torque of the engine.

 

same problem hear only in second on my ex tranny / minime swap also
